Great Photography.. at our backyards

I stayed in the province for almost a week and... got nothing left to do! Thanks to my handy camera, I turned a boring day to a very creative day.

Infront of our house is a huge garden full of flowers, orchids, shrubs and vines.. then occasionally you can see cobras.. rattlesnakes and vipers.. hehe! of course those last three are just a joke hehe!

I remember I hated that garden when I was still a kid since I need to water it everyday specially during summer season.. I'm really mad at them and I drowned them with water.. bad boy i am really Oh my God... Im really crazy back them haha! However what I really love about garden back then was.. our garden have full of spiders.. me and my brother catch them and made them fight! The bigger they were the better.

Now that I'm old enough.. thank God my mother dont ask me anymore to water her plants. Now I appreciate the garden more.. its good for taking pics.

20 minutes before take-off

I really miss my vacation.. dinner with friends, miss my room, miss my dog beaver and being with my family.. I thought going on a vacation would clear my mind and set things straight.. but I'm wrong! Im damned wrong.. Its completely the opposite! After my vacation.. I feel really sad.. homesick and most of all... what i wanna do is go home!

I can say that I'm emotionally mature and usually I can handle hard times but what Im experiencing now is really bad and I'm hoping I can pass this! I know myself and I can do crazy things and I mean really crazy decisions.

Working abroad is not for the faint of heart, actually I guess its not for everybody!

Like everybody else in the Philippines, I really want to work abroad.. its my dream! But It doesnt mean I want to work abroad makes me immune from being homesick and sad..

I guess its just a stage and It will pass.. hopefully!

But for now, watch the vid. I like this song when I was still in a kid.. back then I have no idea I can relate to this song after a decade.. Hope you like it! The damned internet is really slow thats why I can post pics.. nwei Njoy the vid hope you like it!

DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Pics from my travel from Kuwait to Manila last June 28. Stopover at Dubai Intl. Airport.

My seat is near the window.. so I was able to shoot this one from my camphone.

Waiting for 3 long hours..

Actually, their airport looks like a mall than airport..

Instead of dozing off waiting for my flight to manila.. I walk around and took some pics. I almost forgot that I was in the airport.. really! lots of bazaar, boutiques etc. Unfortunately Im already done shopping in Kuwait, also most of the shops dont accept dollars so I just look around.

Wines.. lots of them!

ONE FINE DAY

I stayed in Manila for almost a week, I miss manila so much.. so I went to our old hang outs which usually are in the malls. I went to Megamall, Robinsons Galleria, Shangrila, Glorietta, Greenbelt and Greenhills. My first day, I had my lunch at YOSHINOYA in Megamall since its just a walk from my hotel, then I went to Shangrila. I was still feeling drowsy so I went back to my hotel room and sleep the rest of the day, nightime I went to our house in QC. After a few hours, I went back to my hotel.

After a week in Manila, I went to my hometown.
Since I was alone, I just busy myself shooting.
Check the pics.

Really one fine day

Small Ferry

The BADYAO

Badjao are minorities from southern part of the Philippines, however they migrated to neigboring islands in the early nineties. Badjaos are good divers since they usually live near the sea and its their main source of income, even the 3 year old badjao can dive. As soon as the ferry or the ship docks on the pier.. these badjao kids paddled their small boat near the ferry and beg for some coins.. If you have extra coins in you pockets, throw it on the water near their boat and they will dive for it. Amazingly, they get the coins 100% even the youngest kids.

I remember when I was stil a kid, during our travel from the province to manila. I usually beg for coins from my father so that I can throw them at the badjaos..

As soon as I saw them, I get my digital camera and took several pics, its not very clear since the glass reflected the light from the flash so I turned the flash off. The badjao gladly smile for me. I then searched my pocket for coins and found a handful of 5 and 10 peso coins. I throw them several 5 and 10's and they gladly dived it for me.

Next time you travel and just in case you encounter these indigenous people.. dont hesitate to throw some spare coins.. they might be life saving.

Malling at Greenbelt 5

Its friday and its my off and I'll resume my duty tomorrow.. so I've got plenty of time to post my pics from my vacation. For the mean time, check these pics from GREENBELT 5.

I like this one.. Nice, funny and colorful but very expensive shirts.. almost 1,000pesos each. I almost buy one. I am addicted to shirts.. i have tons of them actually!

Havaianas.. not much a fan of this one, first, I think its too much expensive for a pair of tsinelas, second, there's lot of brand of tsinelas with the same quality.

Im back..

Its almost 3weeks since I leave Kuwait, time fly so fast and I am already here from my vacation. My vacation was such a blast.. even the rain and the typoon and the perennial flood cannot hinder me from enjoying my vacation.

I stay in the Malayan Plaza for 3 days since I did'nt want to go directly at home, first its already late and second.. only my brother at home.. it only means that our apartment is a complete mess and I cannot sleep and relax so I decided to stay in the hotel. The hotel experience is soo nice and I really had a relaxing day. My friends visit me there and we had fun.

I cannot compose a lengthy article since my head is still spinning from the long travel so just please check the pics.

View from my hotel room.. very nice view indeed!
