Finally- NIKON D60

After months of sleepless nights, finally bought a DSLR camera. Its a hard choice actually since I also want the 12megapixels- Canon 450D. However, what made me decide is the price. Nikon is much cheaper but armed with the same feats, I also saw a sample pix from Nikon and I was amazed by the sharpness and details compared to the sample pix from the other brand.
The thing with it... I was overwhelmed with the manual.. Lots of jargons and its quite confusing for first time SLR user like me. I've research lots about it but still quite difficult. Anyway, Im enjoying my new toy and hopefully in the near future I can utilize all its feats. Now? Im still in the "getting to know" stage. Its fun!

At the Al-Kout Mall in Fahaheel
We were summoned to the great head office today for The Performance Management Training.. just the word makes me dizzzyy.. hehe! nwei I dont want to bore you guys with the details so to cut the story short.. after the 2 hour training on the system, we went to a nearby resto and we had our first meal of the day at 4:30pm huhu! Unfortunately Joyce got to go back at her branch coz she's on OT. Since Jan and I were both free.. den we decided to go to Fahaheel at the Al-Kout Mall.
The location is quite far and its like 20-30mins taxi ride fom Salmiya, thank God there's no traffic here. The mall is great and I was amazed by the dancing fountain show.. the water moves in- sync to a tune.. really nice! However I was really disappointed since I was'nt able to bring my digital camera. So I just use my old Nokia phone to take some nice shots.
Excuse lang po.. magpa- pa cute lang muna hehe! Kainis ang taba ko na!

Great Photography.. at our backyards
I stayed in the province for almost a week and... got nothing left to do! Thanks to my handy camera, I turned a boring day to a very creative day.
Infront of our house is a huge garden full of flowers, orchids, shrubs and vines.. then occasionally you can see cobras.. rattlesnakes and vipers.. hehe! of course those last three are just a joke hehe!
I remember I hated that garden when I was still a kid since I need to water it everyday specially during summer season.. I'm really mad at them and I drowned them with water.. bad boy i am really Oh my God... Im really crazy back them haha! However what I really love about garden back then was.. our garden have full of spiders.. me and my brother catch them and made them fight! The bigger they were the better.
Now that I'm old enough.. thank God my mother dont ask me anymore to water her plants. Now I appreciate the garden more.. its good for taking pics.

Studying MACRO Photography
Got nothing to do last friday so I just play with my camera.. shooting at constant object in my room. Then I noticed that the chinese bamboo plant on my table (actually its yellowing probably due to lack of exposure to sunrise) I put on the Macro mode and tried it.. actually its my first time to use that mode since I bought the camera last year and I guess its amazing! I will study more about the macro thats for sure.. I will post next time some more other macro shots.. my fave is the shot of my red beta fish.. so close you can see the lens of its eyes.. amazing!
